Focus on children with disabilities
The central information centre for the care of children with disabilities is Hall 4, where parents and relatives will find all the necessary aids, from wheelchairs to communication aids for inclusive lessons.
In addition, rehaKIND, the International Association for the Promotion of Child and Youth Rehabilitation e.V., Dortmund, offers a comprehensive range of counselling services.
Children's aids at REHACARE
More than 130 exhibitors offer special aids and products for children with disabilities. Click on one of the following product categories to display the exhibitors.
A special service is the childcare offer. Every day between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. (Saturday to 5 p.m.), pedagogically trained supervisors are available on request for a period of up to two hours for children from three years of age. Parents know that their children are in good hands if they want to inform themselves at the fair in peace and quiet.
Uncomplicated interaction
When children with and without disabilities play together, it promotes an uncomplicated interaction among each other. The "Kid's World" is now a permanent venue for families with small children at the fair. In the more than 200 square metres of play and adventure facilities in Hall 4, children can try out balancing games and walk or drive through an exciting movement course. If you prefer to be creative, you can paint, read, do handicrafts or paint yourself and others. The "Kid's World" also has oases of peace in mind: a Snoezel tent and a sound bed tent invite you to relax and dream.
