Guidance system for blind and visually impaired people

Some exhibitors in hall 5 present innovations and new aids for blind and visually impaired people. A special floor guidance system leads the visitors to the exhibitor stands. It starts in the northern entrance, continues in hall 7.0 and reaches hall 5 via the open area.

Aids for hard of hearing and deaf people

Several exhibitors present special aids and products for hearing impaired and the deaf people. In the communication sector, optical or mechanical signal indicators and alarm watches as well as voice synthesizers and voice amplifiers will be presented. Also services like sign language interpretation will be offered.

German Society of Hearing Impaired Self-help and Professional Associations

The German Society of Hearing Impaired Self-help and Professional Associations (Hall 5 / E11) is the sponsor of the focal topic "Aids for hard of hearing and deaf people". Information around the topic hearing disability, among other things to communication forms such as German sign language, sign language courses, assistance in the study, educational offers, hearing aid supply, supply with a Cochlear Implant, self-help groups, can be obtained technically. In addition, a large number of information material is made available.

Joint exhibition: "Schädel-Hirnpatienten in Not" / "Skull-brain patients in need"

The nationwide self-help organization "Skull-brain patients in need" / "Schädel-Hirnpatienten in Not" informs on the subject "neuro-rehabilitation" (Hall 6 / E28) – presented in a joint exhibition with several partners. The partners will consult about interests of traumatic brain patients, re-animated patients, patients with severe stroke, cerebral hemorrhage and people in coma and vegetative state.
