What have you always been wanting to do and why have you never done this so far?

Alhassane Baldé: I am there for almost everything. There was nothing I wanted to do and didn't do so far.

Which person has influenced you most? And why?

Alhassane Baldé: My parents because they raised me and made me who I am today. And above all because they are an example of a great multicultural, integrated and incredibly committed partnership.

Sport and participation belong together for Alhassane Baldé (right). At REHACARE 2018, the racing wheelchair athlete also visited the stand of Errol Marklein, who gave him his first sports wheelchair and was his trainer and mentor for many years.
